The project comprises the construction of two new private acute hospitals (Müllheim and Schkeuditz) and the upgrading / refurbishing of additional four facilities, including medical equipment and information technology. The facilities are located in Germany, with a focus on operations in two new German Federal States (Sachsen and Thüringen).
The project is the medium term investment programme of HELIOS, a privately owned German hospital operator. The project objective is to achieve economic solutions allowing cost savings in hospital operations by removing unfavourable building structures and configurations, with the result of improving the qualitative medical care in the hospitals‘ catchment area.
„We want to promote quality competition between hospitals.“
